How do "stand-up" tanning beds work?

no.
normal beds are just used basically for the front and back of your body.
in stand-up beds, they have handles you hold on to while tanning.
its like, above your head , and it gets the sides front and back of your body as well.
and you can dance while tanning!

well naturally the insides of your arms don't tan as much, plus I believe they have a indicator of when to change positions so that a new area of your body can tan
