Is it okay to use a stand up tanning bed then a regular lie-down one for your first time ever going tanning?
Posted by Sonni in: stand up tanningOr are you supposed to use the regular one?
The bed is not what you should be concerned about. Different bulbs have different wattage levels and that will determine how long you should remain in the bed. Any kind of tanning bed is ok to use the first time but do not stay in for long or you may burn.

It is okay, the only thing you need to know is that the stand up is pretty much double the power of a regular lay down bed. So if i were you i would only go for about 5 minutes your first time. See how your skin reacts and go from there.

I just wouldn’t tan at all. Its Awful for your health.
You said you havent tanned yet so save yourself now.
If anything id do a spray tan if I wanted a tan. Plus I bet it tickles

It doesn’t matter but just make sure that you start at a low minute time for your first time. I am fair complected and I have to start at 3 or 4 minutes depending if they are new bulbs or not. So if you burn easily outside, start low. And don’t forget your eye protection!

it is fine. i always found that the stand-up bed is good for filling out those spots that don’t tan well (like the creases of your armpit or butt). When i used to tan I did the bed most days and then once a week I did the stand-up to even it out.
I don’t tan anymore because it is very bad for you. I know most people don’t want to hear it, I didn’t want to either. It feels good to look nice and tan, but seriously invest in a fake one.
Those Mystic Tans and spray on tans do not look that bad, all the movie stars get them! Tanning is dangerous and damaging. You may look good now but keep it up and you will look much older than you are, and you can possibly get skin cancer and have a chunk of skin taken out of somewhere, like your face. Worse possibly scenario, you get the kind that kills you.
Spray Tan!
