Well stand up boothss are like an actual tan. While a spray on tan fades in about a week. With a stand up tan you go every few days and you get a brown tan. With spray on you tend to look orange.

The place where I tan they only have stand up booths and they are my absolute favorite. I HATE lay down beds!!!

If you want a tan for just a special occasion then just get the spray on but if you to be tan for the summer then go for the stand up booths.

If you are worried about burning/cancer/aging skin and all those things associated with tanning, then a stand up bed is not going to be the right choice. However if you want a slow and settle tan to build, one that won’t go away within a few days and won’t "leak" off in chlorine/chemical water, then tanning in the bed is the right choice. Just make sure you use a good bronzing lotion made for tanning beds and that you don’t overexpose yourself–a real tan does look good…but if you do decide to go with a spray on, get it hand sprayed by a person. Using those machines that do it for you never really give you even looking results. I’ve found that by actually going to a day spa or salon that does the spray on themselves, the tan is a lot more natural (more brown/golden rather than orange), even, lasts longer, and you can control the darkness/lightness. If you can find a salon that has it, Fantasy Tan is the best one out there, try looking by "dealers" online.
