I Have tried " Get Dark" , "Electra" by Figi Blend, and "Sweet Sutra" by Calfornia Tan. I need a new one. And i dont know which one. I want to try a new one. Cost isnt an issue. I want a deep dark tan. Tingle is ok but not too high. PLease help.

note~ I dont want the cheap ones from department stores please. Im looking for the ones you buy at tanning salons.

*** I also would not like lectures on how tanning is bad and skin cancer stuff. i know all of it.

You should check out lotions from Designer Skin.They have some great lotions, and they smell really good.I always get a great color.

I go to the tanning salon often and the girls there are always asking me how I am doing on lotion because I have had the same bottle for about 6-8 months. I told the girl I had plenty but she insisted that they expire and that I really need to get a new one because the amino acids in the lotions break down. She told me she was telling me the truth and that she wasn’t just "selling" but I’m not sure… Does anyone know if they actually expire in that period of time? I use the Designer Skin brand lotion. Thanks!

They can expire, worse- they separate, and once separated it is impossible to fix them no matter how much you shake it. They usually don’t expire until at least a year, but that also depends on how you are keeping the lotion, if your lotion is left in your car (something I typically do) and has been exposed to heat or cold this will make the expiration much sooner, once a lotion has melted it is usually done for, the same goes if it is ever frozen, even if defrosted it will still be ruined. I am thinking about buying Spellbound indoor tanning lotion and Black by Designer Skin. I hear they both work reallllly good so I was just wondering if anyone that has tried it and absolutely loves it? Also if it streaks or makes you orange?

spellbound wasn’t the greatest for me (it could leave some streaks..especially on your hands). black seems to work a lot better & faster.

I just started tanning again last week… It’s been about a year and a half since I’ve been tanning. What would be the BEST lotion to use on my skin, that will help me get a great tan?

I would suggest anything from the brand Designer Skin… it’s the absolute best! Something with an accelerator is perfect for a beginner tanner. I would say try Halo, since it has an SPF of 4 to begin with, then move on to something with a bronzer or intensifier. My favorite is Spellbound, after you are tanning for a while, you should definately try it! You’ll fall in love with it, guarenteed.
