I understand why you cant use oil in a tanning bed but can you use it in a stand up tanning booth?

Who says use oil in a tanning bed? My tanning place encourages it and sells the heck out of it.

I’ve used them before…but 2 days ago I was in the sun and my back is a tiiiiiny bit pink. I wouldn’t really call it a real sun burn at all, far from peeling and not obviously red. I doubt anyone would notice it, but I’m a bit paranoid. Is it still safe to use it tomorrow? My back doesn’t hurt at all, could just be the lighting in my room, but I’m still paranoid. Can anyone help?
Thank you!
i would wait a day or 2
So ive been using a stand up booth a the gym a couple times a week.
Do I just stand in one spot?
Do I lean on the plastic?
Stand still?
Thanks…
Standup and standstill. Personally though….. why? the best part of a tan is the 20 min nap. Find one you can lay down in!!
I know this sounds stupid but I am very skeptical.
What do you wear?
If you breathed wouldn’t you breathe in the tanning spray?
How do you breathe properly without getting a mouthful of tan spray?
Do they usually provide you with goggles/sunscreen (to make sure you don’t burn the very important parts)?
Well are you getting a spray tan? or just in a stand up tanning bed. Usually people go in their bathing suits but some don’t like tan lines. If you go spray tanning I wouldn’t use a good bathing suit though.
They do have goggles and lotion at the place you go. You dont have to worry about breathing in the spray because you wont. So dont worry about that. I would not suggest going spray tanning though because people just end up being orange and they dont realize it (like me when I was a sophmore).
If you really want to tan, I would stick with the beds becuause you are less apt to turn out orange. =]
