ohk im going to start tanning on friday & im going to start wit about 8 mins. i know the owner or whatever of the salon will explain things to me but i just wanna knwo before hand. some questionss::
1.do i get in the bed when the purple light comes on?
2.do i flip any time during my time?
3.does a timer or something go off when im done/…well how do i know when my time is up?
4.dont i put on some kind of lotion before i tan?

1. you turn on the bed, sometimes the switch is on the wall, so the bed will be on before you get in the bed; or the switch will be on the bed so you can turn it on while your laying in there.

2. they dont recommend you flipping, but i do sometimes because in laydown beds they sometimes miss your "sides".

3. the bed turns off when you’re done

4. you can buy a lotion and use it before you tan. i HIGHLY recommend one because it really does make you darker

yes use lotion, they’ll normally recomend that.. get a tan accelerator lotion (at walmart, target, or from them) yes get in when the light comes on and no you don’t have to flip over, the lights are on both sides. the light will shut off when you are done. :] have fun and please please please for your health’s sake, don’t become tannoraxic. :]

yes wear lotion (always spf on your face) also remove your makeup first, and any jewlery. you will know when to get in b/c the bed atomatically turns on. you should be aware of where the stop button is located in case you need to get out before the bed turns off. it will turn off atomatically. then you will probably be expected to wipe down the bed with a towel and cleaner they provide… good luck!!

Added to last answer, make sure you let the person working know how long you want to go cause they set the time at the computer so you don’t have to constantly watch the timer. You will want to get a sample or lotion with a bronzer in it which the lotion will prevent you from looking burnt and help you get a more bronzed tan. Some lotions have a light DHA which is like a self tanner but isn’t streaky. DO NOT try tingle lotion until you are an advanced tanner because it helps people bust over their plateau and it tends to be very hot itchy and uncomfortable after about a min lasting 20mins. But it is important to have good skin care while tanning in UV beds because it really dries your skin out! Don’t let the salon rip you off on some bottle of lotion! Lots of salons jack their lotion prices up 3 times what they get it for from the distributors so don’t get sucked in look on ebay for some good lotion such as Australian gold products! Also make sure you get lotion suitable for indoor tanning beds! Hope this helps and good luck!
