Spray tan?!?!?!?

I have just booked to get a spray tan in just under two weeks
i have booked at a tanning salon where the owners daughter does the spray tan and she is very reputable as she does the spray tans in lots of the salons in my area
i was wondering if anybody could give me tips and suggestions on how to get my skin at its best for when i go to get the spray done
(if it makes a difference i will be in a bikini at a party which i need the tan for so i need it to look as good as possible)

omg i love getting tans. Make sure you exfoliate loads before you go. Buy a good body scrub and scrunchie thing. And put loads of moisturiser on too. On the day wear baggy clothes cos their gonna stick to you. That’s all i do and my tans always look ok, good luck x

If its a good salon they should exfoliate and moisturise you beforehand…ring up and ask. Oh! and if you are getting waxed for your party, need to have that done few days before tan!!

Spray tans are a bad idea. Your body will body will be discolored in different areas afterward.

exfoliation or microdermabrasion! gets off all of the dead skin cells but watch out with that spray tan stuff even if they are good ive seen a lot of chiks come out orange and streakish but only when they were extremely pale. but if you already have somewhat of a tan then it should look good.

I used to work for a tanning salon and spray people and I spray tan every 2 weeks, just make sure you shower and exfoliate your skin really well before you go. She will explain everything to you when you go in. And make sure you dont shower for atleast 6 hours after you get it done.

I would definitely agree with exfoliating prior to your tan. I use a product called Ambush, by EnvyTan. Try not to wear anything like perfumes orlotions the day of your tan, as they create a barrier between the spray tan and your skin. The more hydrated your skin is, the better your spray tan will turn out. after your tan is done, wait 6-10 hours to take a shower. I have found that if you use a tan extender like Body Armor your tan will last much longer and fade more evenly.
